Production Method: Hand harvested, field blend of DDV Block 17 Grenache (40% whole cluster) and Block 13 Mourvedre, co-fermented in concrete. Ambient yeast fermentation, ML conducted in neutral puncheon. Aged on primary lees for 18 months, bottled unfined & unfiltered.

 

Winemaker's Note -

A departure from the Stratastone G-S-M, this concrete fermented blend of Grenache & Mourvedre celebrates the power of Rhone varietals in the Rocky Reach AVA. Sporting a gorgeous bouquet of sweet red and black fruits, crushed rock, ground pepper, violet and blood orange. The '23 Studio Red blend hits the palate with medium to full bodied richness, beautifully balanced with ripe tannins and a taught, chewy finish offering lingering notes of earth driven spice. Fresh, focused and unadulterated.
