The 2022 Stratastone shines with almost equal parts G-S-M, offering an aromatic and inviting bouquet laced with blood orange, tea leaf and whole cluster driven spice. The medium weight palate is juicy and supple, with savory layers of cranberry, crushed rock, green olive, peppercorn and a kiss of oak spice. Tea-like tannins and a sophisticated cut of acidity carries oak-infused mineral notes through to the finish.

"The 2022 11 Dams blend is tenacious and fresh, offering notes of blue fruit, turned earth and dusted oak spice on the nose. The palate is plush and concentrated with serious structure and tension. Plum, dark chocolate shavings and graphite glide across the palate, anchored by building yet polished tannin and succulent acidity."

Tasting Notes

Blue fruits, crushed violet, bittersweet chocolate and intriguing sense of gravel-like minerality all combine in the glass. Yeilding a medium-bodied, fresh, yet concentrated, Malbec with lengthy integrated acidity and chewy tannin, notes of cocoanib, oak spice and graphite linger on the refined finish.

Tasting Notes

Seductive aromatics of ripe black cherry, cedar, crushed gravel and a kiss of oak spice emerge in the glass. The palate is medium to full bodied with polished tannins and a clean line of acidity that brings focused structure to the round mouthfeel. Ample red fruits, notes of graphite and oak spice carry through on the lifted finish, striking a beautiful balance of richness and elegance.
