Technical Information
"Barrel fermented and aged in neutral oak (80%) and stainless steel drums, this 70/30 Marsanne/Roussanne blend leans into flavors of citrus rind and pith, orange peel and apple skin. The tart acids continue to firm up as it lingers through a resonant, gunmetal finish with a hint of bitterness." - 91pts. Paul Gregutt
"A blend of 70% Marsanne and 30% Roussanne, opens with aromas of lemon zest, talc and the kind of beeswax aroma that will have you looking around for a lit candle. The wine's red apple, nutmeg and baked pear flavors will trigger hunger pangs. Fermented in neutral French oak barrels and stainless steel drums, Stratastone aged on its primary lees for 10 months. The resulting acidity and texture are both soft and gentle." - 91pts. Wine Enthusiast
