"Supple and savory, with rich and detailed flavors of black cherry, toasty vanilla and spices that linger on the plush finish. Drink now through 2023." - 93pts. Wine Spectator

"The 2023 Rocky Pond Estate Winery Double D Cabernet Sauvignon from Rocky Reach opens with fragrant layers of crushed dark cherries and cassis, accented by touches of cocoa powder, roasted espresso, and cedary herbs. On the palate, it shows generous fruit density with a velvety texture, delivering flavors of blackberry compote and fig alongside subtle notes of baking spice" - 92pts. International Wine Report

"A cabernet with great precision and minerality, tightly wound through the mid-palate so it is not yet revealing its full color but the long, persistent finish hints at what time in bottle will reveal. Very savory blackberry and blueberry fruit define the profile, presented in a poised, savory style that keeps you coming back for another sip. This has the structure and depth to reward patience. Drink or hold" - 93pts. James Suckling

"Pure varietal, focused and powerful, with a lush mix of mocha, berry, cherry and cassis. The wines from this unique AVA have a distinctive vein of graphite, and a purity that resonates across the palate. Refined and detailed, this has a concentrated finish with ripe, chocolatey tannins and a savory highlight. It was fermented in a mix of oak, steel and concrete, then aged in 75% new French oak. A long life ahead. Drink 2028-2040." - 96pts. Paul Gregutt
